**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
Help to design, implement, and maintain the organization’s cloud based cyber-security plan.

Monitor the organization’s points of access for security breaches and investigate violations if they occur.

Develop and direct implementation of security standards and best practices for the organization.

Direct the installation and use of security tools (e.g., firewalls, data encryption), to protect sensitive information all in a cloud based environment.

Recommend security enhancements that maximize cost benefit.

Direct Help Desk team, end users when they need to install or learn about new security products and/or procedures.

Ensure that IT security audits are conducted periodically or as needed (e.g., when a security breach occurs).

Map out the Security Incident Response Program.

Work with legal, audit and ensure compliance.

Audit Policies and Controls Continuously.

Research the latest information technology security trends.

Assess vendors and develop test strategies for cloud based softwares.

Coordinate Help Desk Team.

**Education**:
Computer science degree is required.

Experience on the following systems/roles:
ITSM

Endpoint System Administrator role

IT Department sysadmin

**Skills**:Ability to communicate orally and written with clients, vendors, management, staff and coworkers is crucial.

Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Must speak English, Spanish is a plus.

This is a work from home position, you must have your own computer equipment and internet connection.

$1500 UDS monthly
