**Accountant - Billing Analyst**

DPV is looking to hire a bilingual Billing Analys to join our growing team

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze billing data and resolve discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely payment and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary billing information and resolve billing-related inquiries.
- Conduct periodic audits of billing records to ensure accuracy and identify potential billing errors or fraud.
- Generate regular reports on billing activities, including revenue analysis, aging reports, and key performance indicators.
- Assist in the development and implementation of billing process improvements and automation.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to billing and invoicing.
- Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
- Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
- Support the process of the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
- Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
- Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
- Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals.
- Prepare and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with billing policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English proficiently
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related
- Proven experience in accounting or billing role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing practices
- flexibility to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using billing software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated
- Team player
- Ability to follow directions

Montly salary: 4.000.000 COP
