**Job Description**:
Razorfish is seeking an Associate Production Manager who can act as a self-starter with exceptional communication and production skills. You will use your superior organization skills to multi-task and reprioritize, meeting ever-changing client needs and deadlines. You will also facilitate communication, create specifications and manage proofing.

**Qualifications**:

- Understands the printing process with regard to direct mail printing capabilities/limitations and vendor selection.
- Understands the cost, production, and quality implications of a range of paper-stock.
- Understands current postal regulations/requirements and keeps up with ongoing changes.
- Contributes innovative thinking to the creative process (e.g., keeps agency abreast of new formats and production technologies).
- Provides constructive evaluation and cost-effective recommendations with regard to production efficiencies.
- Committed to insuring that all aspects of agency work are of superior quality.
- Effectively manages the production process from the concept phase through final production.
- Earns clients' confidence by providing valuable production advice/information.
- Utilizes good judgment when working with internal and external resources.
- Demonstrates an understanding of/adheres to agency process and company procedures.
- Maintains well-organized background materials and files.
- Works well with/has respect for the work done by other agency departments.
- Shares constructive ideas and experiences with co-workers.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for all agency work.
- Sets realistic time commitments with vendors and agency personnel and ensures that they are met.
- Follows through and meets deadlines on special requests and project.
- Shows respect for/maintains a professional working relationship with outside suppliers.
- Demonstrates interest in expanding knowledge of direct marketing and general print production.
- Prepares timely and accurate cost estimates and production schedules.
- Effectively negotiates production costs on behalf of client and agency.
- Monitors changes/revisions and keeps agency and client aware of their impact on costs.
- Responds to cost control issues/problems quickly and appropriately.
- Prepares and helps manage closeout memos, reconciliations and/or final invoicing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Positively contributes to building agency revenue or reducing costs.
