**What a typical day will look like**:
This new position is a Controller for the Andean sub-region. You will report directly to the CFO of the sub-region and in a dotted line to the LATAM Regional Controller. You will be responsible for the entire Controller area for Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela across all Aon solution lines and business divisions. This includes owning the accounting, treasury and tax areas.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the adequacy of the different financial documents, reports to control entities and reports to Aon's regional and global teams.
- Perform monthly financial closings within the established deadlines
- Align with all internal policies and procedures for accounting records
- Present a monthly analysis of balance sheet and income statement variances to senior management
- Ensure adequate cash flow to cover operational and investment needs
- Consolidate a single Andean region comptroller's team
- Lead a team with recent changes in functions, structures and new responsibilities.
- Compliance and other Venezuelan requirements
- Standardise and define best practices across country teams
- Other responsibilities inherent to the position

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:

- Experience: 5-10 years in similar positions
- Expertise: accounting, tax, treasury, technical expertise, especially in IFRS and US GAAP
- Studies and/or specialties: Accounting
- Languages: Advanced English
- Technological tools: Advanced Excel
