**This information is relied upon by the business to make well-informed decisions, leading to future stability, growth and profitability, and therefore requires regular interaction with the business.**:
**Key Accountabilities**
- Supervise and provide guidance to external accountants and local support staff to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including LATAM fiscal year end, and Group reporting standards;
- Point of contact for communication between the Group team based in London and the external accountants;
- Oversight of the LATAM management accountant, including first review of work including the production of monthly management accounts for the six LATAM divisions;
- Collaborating with the business (Regional Director and Office Leaders) and other finance team members on the annual and quarterly forecasting and business planning process for the six LATAM divisions; and
- Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met by agreeing the scope of services and deliverables with the external accountants.
- Support invoicing, payments and other matters in selected operations such as Panama, Brazil, and Puerto Rico.
- Support on matters related to taxes, invoicing among others for selected consultancy projects
- Additional year end requirements_
- Evaluation of each country’s fiscal year end position for mandatory KPIs;
- Support submission and registration of local and group financial statements where required
- Review the tax position (corporate, VAT, withholding and other local taxes) and support tax filings with each country’s authority in conjunction with the local external accountants;
- Supervise and support the consolidation of LATAM year end results for group year-end purposes;
- Assist the UK-based team with the Group year-end audit process.
- Month end requirements_
- Review and assess intracompany contracts and supporting documentation (transfer pricing) and supervise internal invoicing; and
- Oversight of the production and first review of monthly management accounts along with commentary and analysis.

**Requirements**:

- Be a certified accountant and possess a relevant degree
- Have experience in a finance function role, ideally in the professional services industry
- Have previous ERP system experience
- Possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with fluency in both Spanish and English, including written language
- Have strong MS Excel skills and good attention to detail
- Be a quick learner, who is self-motivated, confident and approachable
