QA Automation Engineer

What does this mean for you? On a daily basis, you will be taking a lot of ownership and will be deeply involved in shaping and delivering meaningful projects together with our teams and clients. You will be working with colleagues from all over the world, iterating and collaborating with designers, engineers, delivery teams, and strategy consultants.

We are looking for a motivated and talented** Senior QA Automation Engineer** with a passion for learning and growing with a positive, proactive attitude to join our team in Colombia. If you are comfortable with software testing and quality assurance then we would love to hear from you.

**What you’ll do**:

- You will be working closely with your team members to build automated test suites to verify the quality, security and scalability of our APIs and BE
- Engage with the engineering team to deliver component, integration and E2E tests to ensure all requirements, features, or stories have been fully tested and accepted by the stakeholders prior to deployment.
- Performing Functional/Non-functional testing with manual and automated test suites
- Accurate and timely reporting of test progress, risks & issues
- Meaningfully contribute to test strategies, test automation and benchmarking
- Build test automation in assigned projects
- Communication with other teams in the company - Quality Assurance, Project Management, Engineering, Service Management.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- 5+ years of relevant hands-on QA experience with minimum of 3 years of hands-on automation experience
- Overall knowledge of SW testing tools and IT
- Be hands-on; lead by example.
- Experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium or Appium
- Experience with continuous delivery is nice to have.
- Good written and oral communication skills in the English language
- Good understanding of software quality test practices and methodologies
- Independent, fast-learning, self-starter who takes ownership and helps solve complex problems.
- Excited about automated deployment, fixing bugs, and shipping code.
- Consultancy experience is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage
