**Senior QA Automation Engineer**

**Responsibilities**
- Focus on QA Automation related to backend API development.
- Leadership skills and an ability to work independently without a lot of direction.
- Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmaps, tools, framework, and approach.
- Create, Implement, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks.
- Actively work with development and infrastructure teams for integrating test automation as an integral part of the CI/CD delivery pipeline.
- Provide leadership, guidance, training, and mentoring to implement test automation across the development organization.
- Carry out QA automation feasibility studies.
- Proactively seek to make continuous improvements to test coverage, execution, and automation.
- Evaluate, select, and formulate best usage of test automation tools for different purposes.
- Responsible for the quality and validity of QA documentation.
- Perform manual test on every user story when needed.
- Perform manual regression testing when there is no automation coverage.

**Technical Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiar using Selenium and WebdriverIO for iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience with Cypress and Selenium for Backend API test automation.
- Experience leading QA automation projects and developing testing frameworks.
- Experience with QE methods and implementation.
- Passion for defining and improving QA practices and standards.
- Strong experience developing automation tests with JavaScript.
- Strong experience testing and automation of API REST-based web services.
- Experience with tools to manually test REST services, specifically Postman.
- Good understanding of SQL and Azure relational databases.
- Good understanding of performance testing.
- Strong understanding of bug tracking and task management software.
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members.
- QA integration with GitHub and other CI/CD tools.

**Bonus Skills**
- Cloud development experience with Azure
- Familiar with QA Automation tools like Cucumber
