Then this role must be for you **The Role** Based on our continuous global growth, we are seeking a 'Operations Support Specialist' to join our Medellin office in Colombia. The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to delivering successful service delivery SLA and a high level of customer satisfaction. We need a proactive and assertive individual who thrives working in time-sensitive environments. If these characteristics describe you, then you are the person we are looking for **What will you be responsible for?** - Monitor and maintain RHEL systems. - Provide customer support in a secondary/third support role as required. - Provide communication on major service outages/escalations issues, and opportunities - get things done, make things happen. - Coordinate planned changes with customer service, change management and operations. - Be an ambassador of our company values "Respect, Collaborate, Strive, Innovate" **You will enjoy**: A friendly work environment, competitive salary package, and development opportunities. We see new customers, new business models, new opportunities and new challenges every day. **What does it take?** - 2 - 4 year's Experience in Enterprise Linux - Red Hat (or other flavors like SUSE, UBUNTU) - Experience in shell scripting (BASH or Pearl/PYTHON) - Experience with VMware virtualization technologies - Monitoring with Nagios or other recognized industry monitoring tools - SMPP, MM7 - Site reliability engineering - Experience in other programming languages is preferable - Experience with SQL, AWS/Azure will be advantageous - Fluency in English Don't miss out the opportunity to work for a global leading company with amazing potential for professional growth We support cultural/gender diversity in Soprano and within the Operations Support team in particular. **Notes**:
