**About the Role**

Chiper is looking for a Procurement Manager to drive the implementation of the pricing and portfolio strategy by leading the negotiation and supply teams, managing the negotiation with suppliers to ensure optimal assortment at minimum cost to meet the margin objectives per CPG, maximizing the investment in Ads and commercial activities, while ensuring optimal sourcing to guarantee the growth of all categories.

Success in this role means to develop and follow a clear path to 16% Gross Margin through negotiations with CPGs and having a lost sales level of less than 5%..

You will report directly to the country manager and will be in charge of the tactical and strategic procurement teams, ensuring that we maximize the resources obtained from our relationship with the CPGs.

As procurement manager your main internal stakeholders are the sales teams to balance the resources obtained from the CPGs with the company's sales and margin needs and operations to align the structural capabilities of the logistics and warehousing with the growth requirements.

**What You’ll Do**
- Develop a strategy by macro category and by CPG to have a clear path forward to reach the 16% margin from product sales and purchases, with negotiation as the main tool to achieve this objective.
- Engage with top strategic CPG´s trought top2top Meetings setup by the Strategic procurement lead to ensure that CPGs understand the channel vision we are building at Chiper and how that vision contributes to their company's objectives.
- Alignment with the global director of pricing and portfolio to see what requirements we need to address to ensure the strategy is implemented.
- Monthly Objective setup for strategic and tactical procurement in terms of expected margin per category, new negotiations terms to achieve and portfolio and pricing needs to secure long term vision
- Work cross-functionally with the sales team to ensure that the operation receives the necessary resources in terms of pricing, and commercial activities to ensure that order, sales and margin targets are met.
- Promote a culture of excellence and cooperation between the sales and the procurement teams that puts the interest of the company in a balance between sort terms sales and mid term margin objectives

- You can clearly communicate the goals of the client and the ideas behind the work through presentations and other communication styles.
- You have the ability to motivate, support, and understand the needs of our users and internal teams.
- You have worked with agile methodologies and experimentation frameworks.
- You have worked with iterative models and methodologies.
- You have experience defining the scope for new products and features, communicating requirements and dependencies, and proactively identifying project roadblocks.
- Expertise in resolving time-sensitive matters.

**What You’ll Bring**
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing, Sales, e-commerce, or retail Procurement Manager 3
- 5+ years leading commercial, marketing or negotiations teams.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, finance, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence all levels.
- Team building ability and negotiation skills.
