This position oversees overall finance responsibility, responsible for compliance with Group, such as tax, statutory reporting etc. and manages the service of Customer Support, IT, Purchasing and Facilities for the Sales Company. Driving strategy, business performance follow up and improvements. Has a seat in our Management Team and reports directly to the Managing Director. Position could be based in Colombia, Panama or Peru.
Scope: Colombia, Panama and Peru.
Team: Reporting to the position, middle managers and individual contributors.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of the strategy in the Sales Company by translating strategy into business plans and assist in the establishment of measurable targets and KPI’s to ensure targets are met.
- Evaluate financial implications of various strategic decisions, builds scenarios and recommend actions.
- Promote initiatives to achieve growth and cost savings as well as strengthen responsiveness to customers.
- Ensure accuracy of financial information used in the Sales Company to support the improvement of both commercial and operational related processes.
- Drive improvement of cash flow, operating working capital, financial analysis, planning and reporting processes in the Sales Company.
- Provide analysis support to assess business risk exposure and provide input to define risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance.
- Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements.
- Being a business partner working with other functions in the organization to drive business improvements and change.
- Part of both tactical and strategic decisions in management team.
**Requirements**:
1. Passion about leading by example, communication and relating to team members from different cultural backgrounds.
2. Demonstrated experience in companies with corporate governance such as transnational companies.
3. Experience leading teams.
4. Fully bilingual or fluent in English is a must.
