**Description**:
About the role

We have an exciting, permanent opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our branch in Chinchilla QLD and service our customers’ needs across a range of equipment, including access, power generation, pumping and civil products.

**In this role, your key accountabilities will be to**:

- Attend to breakdowns and repairs, both on sites and workshop
- Programmed servicing / Engine Servicing both in the workshop and field
- Carry out all mechanical inspections in accordance with manufacturers & OHS requirements
- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety requirements are met and demonstrate strong communication at all levels
- In conjunction with Team Leader, monitor reliability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
- Develop and monitor systems to ensure scheduled servicing and repairs carried out to the appropriate standards

**To succeed in the role, you will have**:

- A mechanical trade qualification
- Strong diagnostic, fault finding and problem-solving skills;
- Current MR driver's licence with a good driving record
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Forklift Licence (required), White Card (required), EWP Licence (desirable)
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer service focus;
- A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised;
- Rental/Hire Industry experience will be highly regarded.
