Currently, we are seeking a Data Product Analyst to join our team. Here are the
challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
Position Title: Data Analyst
Location: Colombia
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and
translate them into data requirements for product development.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify opportunities
to improve product performance, user experience, and business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track key
product metrics and KPIs.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support product decisions, feature prioritization, and
strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to define and
implement data-driven features and enhancements.
- Conduct A/B testing and experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes
and inform optimization strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
related to data analysis and product management.
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a
related field. (Or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated expertise in SQL, including custom logic and stored procedures.
Strong experience with ETL processes, covering both traditional and streaming
data sources.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Proficient in Python, with experience automating data pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency in BI tools, preferably Power BI.
- Experience working with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and others.
Pulling information from different sources to process information and building
reports.
- Familiarity with AWS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw
actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings and
recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage
multiple priorities simultaneously.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis
and manipulation.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
- Understanding of product management methodologies and principles.
