**About the Role** **Locations**:Colombia only (remote) Come join us at Odisea and work with some of the most exciting start-ups in the US We are seeking a Lead Software Developer to take ownership of our software development efforts. This is a unique opportunity to shape a product from its earliest stages and make a significant impact in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll be responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design. **Responsibilities** - Define and document the product's technical strategy - Develop and implement our software on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform - Maintain integrations with tools like QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and factory equipment APIs - Design Azure cloud infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability - Lead UI design and development for user-friendly and intuitive experience - Implement Azure security best practices and robust backup/recovery processes - Monitor Azure infrastructure performance and optimize for cost and efficiency - Test software for responsiveness and efficiency **Qualifications**: - Excellent written and verbal English proficiency - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience - Experience in designing and executing a technical strategy for product development - Proven experience as a Software Developer - Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages (Python, Ruby, Java, PHP,.Net) - Familiarity with Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure App Service) and database technologies (Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB) - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus - Azure Developer Associate certification or similar Azure certification is a plus **About the Company** Odisea fue fundada bajo la creencia de que las empresas increíbles solo pueden ser construidas sobre la base de una cultura intencional cultivada por personas excelentes.
