Payroll Sr Supervisor

**Responsibilities**: The Payroll Sr Supervisor supervises a medium payroll team with full leadership and/or supervisory responsibilities of support staff. Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions. Maintains required service levels and performance goals. Ensures the consistent and appropriate documentation of all direct reports. Manages quality monitoring process for direct reports. Develops, implements, and communicates process improvements as appropriate. Interacts with other organizational management to facilitate the problem resolution and quality processes in all groups. Provides backup to the Payroll Operations Manager. Assists in the documentation of internal procedures and business requirements. Assists in the business analysis and documentation of change specifications. Interacts with customers on production and project support. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
