Position Summary

Responsible to lead the Demand planning area for LatAm affiliates (Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Peru and Chile) managing Forecasting at 12/18 rolling months, Co-packing and CPFR roles in Mexico and Chile. Leads a team of 5 direct reports and is accountable to deliver the highest Forecast accuracy to optimize cost to serve and mix of inventory.

Universal Accountabilities

Represent the Demand Planning team on the Latam IBP cycle and lead the Demand review meeting to ensure proper visibility of the demand signals at medium long-term planning windows.
Ensure consistency across the affiliates about Forecasting elements, processes of calculation and deliverables towards one set of numbers common to the Latam organization.
Pursue continuous improvement related to planning process and incorporation of technical tools to Forecast accuracy consolidation.
Liaison from S&OE instance to provide visibility on Risks and Opps to the commercial team.
Oversee CPFR interaction with key customers, monitor performance and propose improvement strategy.
Coordinate and provide guidance to the co-packing suppliers to ensure a good service for goods storage, distribution to customers and local co-packing services.
Develop the demand planning team through continuous coaching and training aligned with the HR regional plans.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering or business administration preferably.

8 years of experience leading Demand Planning.

SAP Management and JDA

IBP (S&OP) process management

Advanced Office software (Specifically Excel and Power Point) and PBI

Previous experience managing people

Experience managing different markets across LatAm

Consumer goods companies

Advanced level of English
