**About the role**

Demand Inc is looking for a smart, adaptable and highly skilled Research Manager with expertise in web & data scraping, along with proficiency in parsing and structuring unstructured data to join our dynamic team.

As the Research Manager specializing in web data scraping, you will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and transforming vast amounts of unstructured data into valuable insights. You will lead a team of researchers, providing guidance and expertise in data scraping techniques, data parsing, and structuring methodologies. Your efforts will contribute to the development of innovative solutions and strategies that drive our business and help our clients thrive.

**What we're looking for**:

- Develop and implement efficient web scraping strategies to extract relevant data from a variety of sources.
- Utilize your expertise in web scraping tools and technologies to automate data collection processes.
- Continuously monitor and improve scraping techniques to ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of scraped data.
- Document methodologies, best practices, and standard operating procedures for data scraping and parsing.
- Set clear goals, establish priorities, and ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Utilize your knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and normalization techniques to enhance data quality and usability.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, and a mastery of English (C1-C2 level)
- Proven experience (3+ years) in web and mobile data scraping, with a strong understanding of scraping tools, libraries, and techniques.
- Expertise in parsing and structuring unstructured data using programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
