Financial Order Management Lead

**Job Description**:
NielsenIQ is seeking a talented Global Business Process Optimization Lead for the Order Management Function to play a key leadership role in identifying process breakdowns, propose innovative solutions, and be action oriented to drive quick results. Reporting to the Global Post-Sales Enablement leader, this role will work with cross functional teams (Sales, Finance, Technology) to identify and manage the right mix of tools and processes to move opportunities to recognized revenue faster and bring cash in the door earlier.
**Responsibilities**:
- Passionate about engagement and leading a team (onshore and / or offshore resources) that is focused on reporting, training, business process optimization, and/or internal help desk support for OTI inquiries
- Harvest customer pain points, identify novel improvement options, analyze all possible solutions, and effectively implement the most pragmatic resolution
- Analyze ways of working variations between regions in the Order to Invoice cycle, propose ways to standardize the approach globally, effectively communicate those proposals to executive leadership, and build a path towards successful implementation
- Lead a team of up to 8 direct reports
- Responsible for the overall success of Order Management Business Process Optimization team through coaching, training, onboarding, and overall professional development of team members through direct management and/ or mentorship
- Design projects & initiatives for the team to drive from conception through execution
- Drive the development, automation, governance, measurement, and improvement of the order to invoice cycle; includes evaluating the integration of CRM and Finance platforms and assisting with training support
- Partner closely with major business functions leads across the invoice to order life cycle including Technology, Finance, and Sales to resolve order questions and process orders quickly without error
- Drive compliance with company policies, business rules and revenue recognition principles
**Qualifications**:
- 8+ years of related work experience in Sales Operations, Deal Desk or Finance, Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong Finance background & breadth of experience with an understanding of revenue recognition principles and Order to Invoice best practices
- Possess a servant leadership style - driven to exceed the needs of key stakeholders while always acting in the best interests of NIQ
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically through identification of problems and implementation of successful, tactical solutions
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and keen ability to manage the team’s competing priorities to ensure business critical objectives are met
- Skilled at building strong working relationships with team members in varying departments and senior levels of management
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Experience building and / or using sales performance reporting in a CRM, PowerBI or similar software
- Excellent written, verbal and active listening skills
- Prior exposure to SaaS technology
