Senior User Interface Designer

**Job purpose**:
We are seeking a **Senior UI Designer** with significant experience working with **high-end luxury brands** to craft visually stunning, user-centric digital experiences that embody sophistication and elegance. This role involves leading the execution of visual design deliverables and contributing to marketing/communication campaigns and digital experiences that resonate with discerning clientele and enhance user engagement.

**Job details**:

- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CR Time Zone.
- **Language Proficiency**: Spanish: C1+ / English: B2+ reading, writing, and conversation.
- **Availability**: Immediate availability preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Creates storyboards, mood-boards, initial visual concepts, design layouts, photo-retouching, illustrations for digital, functional design solutions, site grids and UI demos under Design Lead supervision.
- Provides reliable quality assurance on all visual design deliverables.
- Anticipates issues and flags situations that might impact quality or delivery success.
- Communicates effectively with design team members, project managers and design leads.
- Thinks creatively and justify concepts to team members and Design Leads.
- Understands and applies the design thinking cycle to projects when is appropriate.
- Balances strategic development with client objectives.
- Stays up to date with recent design trends and new technologies.
- Builds and maintains a rapport with creative team, project managers and developers.
- Continuously seek to be well-informed regarding new software and design concepts.
- Understand the process of business development, and lead aspects of pitch creation in alignment with the overall sales story.

**Academic Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in UI Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- 6+ years of hands-on UI design experience.
- **Portfolio showcasing user-centered interfaces specifically for luxury brands.**:

- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (**Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite**).
- Deep understanding of **luxury consumer behavior** and digital experience expectations.
- Exceptional **visual design skills**, with mastery of typography, color theory, and high-end aesthetics.
- Experience with **interactive prototypes and motion design** to enhance the luxury digital experience.
- Experience working with international clients and global brands is a plus.
- Experience in **visual design**, **interface design**, UX, or product design.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end UI design projects, from conceptualization to execution, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing and creating comprehensive **UI design systems** and **style guidelines**.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as **Material Design** and **Human Interface Guidelines**.
- Solid understanding of visual design principles, trends, systems and structures.
- Strong grasp of visual design principles, including hierarchy, typography, layout, and color theory.
- In-depth knowledge of UX principles, trends, and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas and concepts effectively using written documentation and visual diagrams.
