Currently, we are seeking a Tech Lead Javascript Developer to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
Position Title: Tech Lead Javascript Developer

Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia

What you will be doing:

- Participate in architecture design and estimation of new projects.Review developers code as a gate keeper to ensure the code the team ship is secure, maintainable and scalable.
- Lead sprint ceremonies.
- Work with multinational teams to accomplish tasks.

Expectations:

- Be available during working hours and communicate availability.
- Be available to participate in off-hours on-call rotation.
- Complete task on-time.
- Escalate issues and delays that cannot be resolved within the squad to the SVP of Technology.
- Find solutions to blockers raised by more junior developers in the team.
- Be able to suggest new technologies or tools to improve team efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Typescript, Node.js, React.js, SQL (any SQL technology, Microsoft SQL is a plus) and MongoDB.
- 6+ years of experience full stack or equivalent in back-end / front-end.
- 4+ years of experience leading a development team with a proven track record of delivering projects.
- 3+ year Experience with AWS (SQS, EC2, Fargate, Lambda, RDS).
- Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team of developers effectively.
- Proven experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure architectures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and a head for problem solving.
- Capable of mentoring Junior developers.
- Fluent in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or 10+ years of experience including 5+ years of experience as a Technical Leader).
- C# and Visual Basic.
- Github Actions.
- Experience working with international teams.
- Worked on a high traffic system.
- Agile / SCRUM.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across different time zones.
- Good arithmetic, reading, and typing skills.
- Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Be able to see, speak and hear.
- Ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines.
