The Vendor Management Specialist will oversee vendor relationships for the marketing department. We utilize a complex network of vendors to achieve our goals and need a highly organized and proactive individual who can help keep us moving in an agile and fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities include leading the vendor procurement, contracting, and invoicing process across the marketing team. You’ll coordinate closely with our Procurement, Legal, and Accounts Payable teams to ensure new vendors are onboarded in a timely and efficient manner.

Specific responsibilities will include:

- Managing contract negotiations between internal teams and external vendors
- Managing a calendar of contract renewals
- Coordinating with marketing team on upcoming contract needs and preferred timelines
- Managing relationships with vendors to ensure optimal benefits
- Coordinating with marketing team on deliverables for contracts, maintaining a calendar, and providing liaison support
- Documenting allocated funds in the appropriate marketing budget document after a contract is signed
- Creating a vendor management process for marketing team to ensure contracts are completed in a timely fashion
- Reviewing and monitoring vendor management process on a regular cadence to identify any areas for improvement and adjusting as needed
- Providing updates on a consistent basis to various marketing stakeholders and team members
- Required _s_kills/_q_ualifications:_
- Ability to multitask effectively as well as demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, while maintaining the ability to prioritize and facilitate multiple fast-paced projects
- Proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to be flexible and navigate unforeseen obstacles and opportunities with a positive attitude
- Strong project management and communication skills - both written and oral
- Self-starter with ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and leverage resources across the organization
- Flexible and able to accommodate and adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Suite of tools
- Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
- Preferred _s_kills/_q_ualifications:_
- Project management experience
