*** We are looking for a Senior Collection Specialist to join our growing Global Finance Team. This full-time position will be responsible for the collection activities for a broad **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Monitor ACH direct debit rejections - Respond to and solve Zendesk tickets with the SLA agreement. - Reconcile accounts when clients dispute balance - Participate in client meetings for existing clients and new clients. - Assist with the month end process. - Participate in weekly AR team meetings. - Ongoing review of client credit reports. - Process client refunds - Provide clients with statements. - Assist with any AR team projects. - Provide weekly and monthly reports on all assigned clients and their status **QUALIFICATIONS** - 1+ year of accounting/collection experience is required. - Should be flexible to work in US hours. - Ability to work with a wider global team and across different time zones if required. - Technology-literate, including Microsoft Suite and NetSuite - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a well-organized manner. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and juggle a variety of tasks. - Ability to take ownership and carry accountability even when working closely with the team. - Proficiency in excel using pivot tables is a requirement. - Ability to follow directions and processes is required and excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills in English **OUR VALUES** - **Velocity**: Exceeding expectations of our customers, colleagues, and ourselves by delivering swift and effective results. - **Integrity**: Doing right by our customers, colleagues, and ourselves through honest and ethical actions. - **Be Bold**: Daring to take risks, learn, and grow to benefit our customers, colleagues, and ourselves. - **Empowerment**:Owning our decisions and being accountable for the impact we have on our customers, colleagues, and ourselves. - **Service**: Supporting our customers, colleagues, and ourselves with respect and empathy. **WHAT WE DO** Velocity Global is one of the fastest-growing companies in the world.
