**What the day will look like**

The Regional People Safety and Security Services Officer (RPSSO) serves as the principal point of contact between the centralized Global People Safety and Security organization and the region's key operating officers, including the Chief Operating Officer(s), Chief Risk Officer(s), Chief People Officer(s), and Regional Head(s) of Technology.

The RPSSO is responsible for oversight and governance of the implementation of security controls and services, including:

- Incident Response: Provide support for regional incident response activities, including the development and evaluation of crisis and emergency response plans.
- Compliance and Governance: ensuring regional adherence to laws, regulations, and industry standards, with documentation maintained for audits and assessments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate proactively with regional business leaders, People and Security teams, and additional stakeholders to embed security practices within business processes and operations. Prepare and deliver reports to leadership committees and Boards as appropriate.
- Service Delivery Management: Coordinate critical issues related to service delivery and support project implementation initiatives. Provide insights representing the business perspective to advise the development of service improvements.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Strong physical security knowledge and experience governing controls
- Knowledge of Physical and Personnel security principles and standard methodologies
- Experience with Compliance assurance and Internal Audit practices
- Advanced English
- Relevant certifications such as CPP, PSP or Health and Safety (desirable)
