The care team at Loop Medical Center prioritizes patients, listening to their stories and working to understand their pain. They use evidence-based therapy, offering the latest and most effective treatments for pain management.
**What You'll Do**
- Engage in meaningful insurance discussions with clients
- Speak with patients virtually to explain the benefits of their coverage based on the treatment plan recommended
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships
- Review chart documentation to ensure the patient meets medical policy guidelines
- Prioritize incoming authorization requests according to the urgency
- Obtain authorization via the payer website or by phone and follow up regularly on pending cases
- Initiate appeals for denied authorizations
- Respond to clinic questions regarding payer medical policy guidelines
- Contact patients to discuss authorization and insurance status
- Other duties as assigned, aligned with the job responsibilities
**What You'll Bring To The Team**
- Strong spoken and written English C1+
- Experience in pain management and vein treatment
- 2+ Years of Experience in the healthcare industry
- Experience with procedure authorizations and insurance verification in any medical field
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a safe-pace environment
