We're seeking an experienced **Head of Operations to lead our dynamic team in Colombia**, driving operational excellence and fostering growth across the Round Group’s innovative divisions. **Fluency in English is essential - spoken and written**, as this position demands frequent communication with our global teams and international clients.

Round Agency, a creative digital marketing company, is focused on servicing record label and brand clients helping with strategies to activate campaigns. APEX is a talent management agency representing some of the most impactful creators around the world.

**Team Leadership and Operations Management**:

- Directly manage the team, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities. Your role is pivotal in maintaining an efficient, productive work environment that fosters growth and innovation within and across the APEX and Round divisions.

**Performance and Targets**:

- Monitor and drive the team to meet or exceed set targets. Implement regular reviews to ensure alignment with our strategic goals, adapting tactics as necessary to achieve success across both divisions.

**Strategic Growth and Hiring**:

- Spearhead growth initiatives, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement. Oversee the hiring process to ensure our team is staffed with talented individuals who align with our culture and operational needs, enhancing collaboration between APEX and Round.

**Operational Oversight**:

- Manage essential operational tasks, including contract oversight, payroll registration, holiday management, and more, ensuring our operations run smoothly and comply with local regulations.

**Financial Management**:

- Oversee the running costs associated with the Colombian team, diligently ensuring that budgets are adhered to and financial targets are met. Your fiscal responsibility will directly impact our efficiency and profitability.

**Strategic Reporting and Efficiency**:

- Report directly to the Managing Director of each division, providing insights and updates on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities. Your input will be crucial in shaping strategies for enhanced efficiency and growth. You’ll be in frequent communication with the UK leadership team to update and discuss objectives.

**Infrastructure Management**:

- Oversee the local office infrastructure, ensuring the team has everything they need to operate effectively. From office supplies to workspace optimization, you’ll ensure our environment supports our ambitious goals.

**Team Support and Resolution**:

- Act as the go-to person for any day-to-day issues the team faces, offering solutions and support to overcome obstacles and maintain high morale and productivity.

**Cross-Division Collaboration**:

- Ensure effective collaboration between the APEX and Round divisions, fostering a culture of open communication and teamwork. Your leadership will bridge any gaps, ensuring that the divisions operate cohesively towards shared objectives.

**Who You Are**:

- A skilled manager with 5+ years of experience in team leadership within the media space, ideally with a background in influencer or digital marketing.
- You are adept at managing diverse teams, driving operational success, and forging strong client relationships.
- English proficiency is non-negotiable, as you'll communicate regularly with our teams and clients in the UK and US. Fluency in Spanish is also required to navigate the local environment effectively.
- A problem-solving leader, capable of inspiring your team towards collective and individual success, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- A proactive visionary, always on the lookout for growth opportunities, with a keen understanding of the digital landscape and influencer dynamics.

This role is based in the vibrant Poblado district of Medellín. Close to the Centro Comercial Santafé.
