**Quality Control Coordinator (Zona Franca Rionegro, Antioquia, Colombia)**

**Position summary**

The Quality Control (QC) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the management and verification of manufacturing records and quality control data to ensure product compliance with internal and external standards. Your focus will be on Ensure the microbiological quality of products manufactured in the manufacturing plant by creating, implementing, and managing quality control and assurance systems. The position has a technical and strategic emphasis on microbiology, contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

**Role Responsibilities**:
**-**Design, implement, and lead the microbiological quality assurance and control program at the plant.

Define, validate, and document microbiological analysis methodologies for raw materials, intermediate processes, and final products.
- Coordinate and execute sampling, analysis, data management, and statistical validation activities.
- Establish key indicators related to the microbiological and general performance of the quality system.
- Actively participate in the design, monitoring, and implementation of management systems under ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Monitor environmental controls and critical points within the production process.
- Promote ongoing training of operating personnel in good manufacturing practices and microbiological control.

Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Archive all documents for the required duration, ensuring proper record-keeping for audits and regulatory purposes

Review production records to verify that products meet quality standards before global distribution

Identify non-compliant findings and recommend corrective actions or improvement plans to address quality issues.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any quality-related issues that may arise

during production or distribution.

Assist with the review of Certificates of Analysis and ensure they are accurate and properly formatted.

Collaboration: Work closely with supply planners and production teams to obtain manufacturing, records and quality control data in a timely manner.

Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure continuous improvement in quality processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ensure the implementation, standardization and optimization of the cleaning and disinfection program

**Education / Skills / Abilities**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, Microbiology and Bioanalysis, Biological Engineering with an emphasis on microbiology or industrial processes or a related field, or Associate degree in Chemistry with 2 years of relevant experience, or 3-5 years of experience In quality control processes, emphasis on microbiology in manufacturingCertifications and experience in ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, HACCP, GMP, and other quality and laboratory management related standards will be highly valued.
- **Skills / Abilities**:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of pesticide chemistries, formulation sciences, and/or manufacturing procedures.
- Ability to work with pesticide materials in compliance with safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Solid knowledge of microbiological techniques applied to the agricultural sector, plant extracts, and natural products.
- Ability to develop and interpret statistical analyses of microbiological data.
- Skill in designing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).Knowledge of methodologies for defining PC and PCC
