Environment Engineer

We are seeking an **Environment Engineer** to Lead the company to comply with national and international regulations/standards. Responsible for carrying out, and continuously improving the environmental programs and long-term sustainability strategy. Also, examine existing activities, services and products to assess and manage risks, as well as identify and leverage opportunities.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

Specific educational qualifications, degree, certification required for this role

1) Bachelor in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.

2) Professional Accreditation (local and/or international engineering councils/agencies).

3) Certified Internal/Lead Auditor for ISO 14001:2015

Minimum experience and specific knowledges required for this position

1) 4-10 years of experience in environment.

2) 3-9 years of exposure in oil & gas/petrochemical industry.

3) Familiar with national and international environmental rules and regulations pertaining to industry standards.

4) Proficient in GHG accounting, Auditing Skills and technical report writing.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create, Modify, Update and maintain documents required under EMS ( e.g. GI, WI, ERM Register, Environmental Aspects & Impacts, legal and other requirements, Environment Social Management plan, etc, ). Ensure satisfying all lenders' and LTA requirements
- Provide technical assistance to environmental concerns related to Emissions to Air (point source & Fugitive), wastewater generation and treatment, Hazardous/Non Hazardous wastes segregation, storage, transportation and disposal.
- Establishing environmental monitoring plans ( Waste minimization, wastewater monitoring, GHG and FMP)
- Conduct environmental incident investigation to prevent recurrence and provide remedial action plan to restore affected area.
- Work with OME teams to ensure all operations and maintenance activities are in environmental compliance and meet the respective KPIs.
- Conduct regular inspections on plant and during operations and maintenance work to ensure that environmental standards and guidelines are being adhered to and report any deviations from environmental norms to environment section head and/or relevant section heads.
- Prepare and review various environment section reports. Carrying out environmental performance monitoring, trend analysis, and maintain up to date records.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Environment Section Head
