With our headquarters in Montreal and offices in Toronto, Calgary, Mexico, Colombia and Ukraine, we are now looking for a talented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Bogota, Colombia.
An opportunity exists for an Accounts Payable analyst with fluent English and Spanish skills to join our team. Our company operates in the Transport Service Industry. Position is available immediately. Bogota, Colombia.
The role of the Accounts Payable Analyst is to improve Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), with focus on maximizing sales potential.
**Responsibilities**
- Reconcile and resolve issues impacting payment of invoices.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and sales representatives.
- Vendor Communication: Corresponding with vendors or suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other routine matters.
- This position will interface between our transportation vendors, and internal traders regarding fees given to carriers.
- Payment Preparation: Preparation of payments to vendors, which may include check issuance, electronic transfers, or other payment methods.
- Processes all checks requisition forms/invoices/expenses/reports received from suppliers, carriers & employees.
- Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to accounts payable transactions.
- Data Entry: Accurate and timely data entry of financial information into the company's accounting software
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
- Proficient in Excel and databases.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish. French is an asset.
- Ability to successfully organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00
