Lead Drupal Developer

We welcome an expert in Drupal to join our remote team in a Lead Developer role.

This position demands a profound understanding of Content Management Systems, Drupal APIs, Drupal Decoupled, Headless Concepts, PHP, and Acquia Cloud. The tasks involve enacting site-provisioning technical activities for an established product with the potential for future transfer into Development Support. Code development using best practices, performing code reviews, and testing will be expected. Seize this opportunity if you possess substantial experience as a Drupal developer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Site Provisioning technical tasks for an existing product, with a view to future transfer into Development Support
- Implement code development best practices, perform code reviews, and conduct occasional testing
- Facilitate key issue and system structure discussions with team and clients
- Construct and manage Decoupled Drupal Systems with various frontends
- Verify system alignment with target market needs and business objectives of our clients
- Pursue continuous improvement of technical and soft skills through engagement with a mentor

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 5 years of direct coding experience with Drupal, inclusive of building and maintaining Decoupled Drupal Systems with different frontends
- Expertise in understanding complex Decoupled systems
- Proficiency in team and client communication regarding key issues and system structures
- Advanced understanding of Content Management Systems, Drupal APIs, Drupal Decoupled, Headless Concepts, PHP, and Acquia Cloud
- End-to-end system construction and delivery experience
- Practical knowledge of JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks, JSON, and REST APIs
- Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices
- Familiarity with the site provisioning process in Acquia Environments
- Comprehensive understanding of the release process
