We are looking for a Lead Android Developer to join our remote team.

You'll be at the helm of developing and maintaining a highly-rated Android native app for customers. With your expertise in Android development, Java, App Components, UI frameworks, developer tools, and workflows, you’ll be a vital part of our team. The role requires interaction with both local and remote teams, necessitating strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of the customer's Android native app
- Working in tandem with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Alignment of app development with customer requirements and industry norms
- Staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to keep the app current
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Taking the lead on projects when required

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Relevant experience in Mobile App Development for at least 5 years
- A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in software development teams
- Proficiency in Android, App Components, UI frameworks, developer tools, and workflows
- In-depth understanding of Java
- Solid understanding of Android Design Patterns, Google's Design Guidelines, and Google Play Developer Program Policies
- Experience in networking, local data caching, and multitasking on Android
- Familiarity with 3rd party libraries and services
- Knowledge and practical experience with Agile processes
- Ability to work effectively with both local and remote resources in a dynamic team setting
- Proficiency in English for seamless communication with team members and stakeholders

- Development experience on other mobile platforms
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development skills
