**BI Data Analyst**

**Medellin.**

**Monday to Friday**

**PERMANENT POSITION**

**$6M to $9M per month (depending on experience)**

**DESCRIPTION**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:
**Essential Functions**:

- Design and develop reports in accordance with company requirements and needs.
- Create solutions that strengthen current processes.
- Develop solutions that produce high-quality products.
- Generate documentation of developed products.
- Create and develop new processes for data migrations.
- Optimize queries, stored procedures, and functions in current systems.
- Implement automated processes for integration with suppliers.
- Support and attend to assigned requirements in a timely manner.

**Responsibilities**
- Creation and improvements of integration and query processes in databases.
- Ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Requirements**:

- Bilingual, with high competency in English and Spanish.
- Experience in the health insurance and/or travel industries.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for discussing problems, and needs, and proposing solutions with interested parties.
- Proactive in proposing creative solutions to problems.
- Agility in problem-solving and developing solutions.
- Teamwork skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

**Knowledge Requirements**:

- Database management
- SQL Server
- DB2 - AS400
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- Automatic database integration processes (ETL with ISS or Python)
- Power BI
- Knowledge and experience in agile development
- Desirable knowledge of JIRA

**Education and Experience**:

- A professional degree related to the following areas: systems, computer science, information science, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
