Product Owner

As a **Product Owner**, you will play a key role in facilitating HostPapa’s product development and engineering efforts for our suite of web presence solutions. You will play a vital role in an exciting and growing organization and within our product delivery team.
**What will you do**:

- Act as a key communicator across the organization and within assigned teams to facilitate scrum activities, communicate value to the business, and serve as a mouthpiece to stakeholders for your assigned products and scrum teams.
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify, refine and distill business requirements into actionable user stories for development, including product designers (UX), marketing, engineers, management, customer support, and sales.
- Lead scrum teams and ceremonies, including refinement sessions, stand-ups, sprint planning and sprint retrospective meetings.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support for Scrum practices within assigned scrum teams to drive improvements in team processes and deployments and in promoting optimum velocity.
- Maintain the product and sprint backlog in collaboration with Product Managers to drive research and discovery efforts, prioritization, and the delivery of customer value from ideation to delivery.
- Facilitate the scoping, planning, development and deployment of product launches and feature iterations, on time and on budget.
- Effectively use data to inform decisions, understand the impact of releases, and demonstrate the value added to the business and for customers.
- Use an experimentation mindset and methodologies to test and validate assumptions, optimize outcomes and drive incremental customer value.
**About you**:

- Previous working experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Significant experience working with Scrum Agile processes and principles
- Experienced in SaaS product delivery and the software development lifecycle
- Strong collaborator, communicator and group facilitation
- Proficient in facilitating technical discussions with engineers and other stakeholders related to shipping software products
- Significant experience interfacing with UX, engineers, product marketing, and other stakeholders to define and deploy products
- Experienced leveraging data and analytics to discover and validate product activities
- Web hosting and WordPress experience a strong plus
- Experience with Jira preferred
- Ability to work effectively with remote teams.
