Market Development Manager (Remote Sales)

**General Role Description**

This is a remote-based inside sales role selling to Mid-Market / Enterprise businesses across the country. We provide tools to help you prospect as you also close leads. This position reports to an RVP of Sales at Vengreso.

**Role of a Market Development Manager**

A Market Development Manager's primary role is to sell Vengreso’s suite of digital selling training and related services. The MDM will build business relationships with sales and marketing decision-makers, present compelling presentations, and close business. This is a largely independent sales role for a sales executive with a high degree of business maturity. This individual will acquire expertise on Vengreso offerings through training, including tools, work sessions, and training components for our solutions.

**Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)**

The Market Development Manager will own their entire sales cycle, identifying, prospecting, and qualifying leads in their pipeline. MDMs will prospect, attend scheduled calls, build strong personal relationships, diagnose and assess client needs, prescribing, designing, and implementing strategic interventions using the full range of existing or custom Vengreso content, products, and/or programs.
- Develop and execute monthly prospecting plans.
- Independently calls on mid to senior-level sales and marketing executives to generate product, program, and consulting sales.
- Present and provide individual client consultations in context with an overall intervention strategy as needed.
- Design custom programs and tailor standard programs to meet individual client needs.
- Design account strategy and business development to develop new and existing accounts
- Closes business consistently within the Vengreso guidelines developed for product and services mix and pricing
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual qualified meeting and revenue goals.
- Utilize Sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress and forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals.
**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**
- An entrepreneurial spirited person, with at least 3 years consultative sales experience, with demonstrated skills in the areas of lead generation, forecasting, prospecting, and driving opportunities to closure, preferably in a corporate/professional services environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience BA / BS in Business or related field.
- A well-developed achievement pattern, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity is critical to being successful in this role.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication.
- Must be able to create and deliver compelling, polished sales presentations to both line leadership and senior corporate executives within target companies

- You are responsible for communicating the status of each project through tasks within Teamwork.

- You are required to work during Vengreso business hours (PST, CST)
- A home office / Workspace with a High-speed internet connection
