Sales Development Manager

The role will function under a matrix environment where influencing teams and individuals at different levels of the organization will be required (Sales Executives, Sales Managers, Services Managers, 3rd party agencies).
This position will support the entire Vertiv Technology and will work closely with local sales teams and service teams.
The role will cultivate and foster relationships with local media, advertising, public relations and other 3rd party marketing agencies to develop programs, events and campaigns.
**Responsibilities**:
- Converting marketing demand initiatives and generating a quality pipeline for our sales organization.
- Scale and manage a high-performing team of 4+ SDRs who consistently overachieve on aggressive goals and will become future Vertiv Sellers
- Implement and drive an innovative Account-Based Experience (ABX) strategy, leveraging intent data to create demand, capture, and convert in-market accounts into a sales-ready pipeline.
- Working backward from revenue targets, determine the ideal business development structure and headcount requirements.
- Create a structured and scalable onboarding process for every phase of BDR career pathing.
- Measure and optimize speed to productivity and BDR effectiveness through ongoing training/learning.
- Ensure a culture of accountability across all levels of the team.
- Utilize tech stack tools at a proficient level: Oracle Sales Cloud, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and 6sense.
- Highly collaborative leader across sales and marketing team
- Align with marketing on account-based marketing campaigns and related outreach.
- Collaborate with the sales department to ensure a smooth hand-off of new opportunities and regularly review the quality of sales opportunities.

**Education & Certifications**:

- Experience with Technology Platforms such as 6sense, Zoominfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Oracle Sales Cloud
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related or technical field preferred (or equivalent of education and experience)
- 5 years minimum of sales experience as a top performer, including time as a team lead, coach, or manager, preferably in a sales development role at a fast-paced technology company.
- Experience building/scaling BDR teams,(Business Development Reps) coaching, recruiting, and motivating BDRs as well as proven work experience as an Enterprise BDR.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure technology, including software, hardware, and/or networking preferred.
- Proven experience working successfully with marketing teams
