We are seeking a **Graphic Designer Team Lead** to join our Marketing team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Marketing team. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of graphic design but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.
The Team and Job Summary
The creative team, within the Marketing Department, is a group of communication and creative professionals operating as the company's internal agency to serve clients throughout the entire organization.
Job Responsibilities
Support the Marketing and Communication efforts of the company on a global scale, by leading a team of designers to help develop any type of collateral such as, but not limited to:
- Create report Templates, proposal templates, backings and event pieces, corporate campaigns, etc.
- Support Experts within the company with brand alignment requests.
- Help guide and create a company visual language.
- Handle documents in foreign languages and liaison with translation companies or collaborators.
- Guide Designers in project development and project management.
- Help link and manage content development and editing to design follow-through.
- Help track and manage marketing requests.
- Help organize and maintain corporate marketing platforms.
- Be a part of team reviews for any design-related collateral.
- Assist with internal and external communications.
- Review and help update collateral within a dynamic, fast-paced and malleable company culture.
- Handle and help coordinate printing/production of collateral on a global scale and manage communications with external providers.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training and 6 to 8 years of experience in graphic design in a creative environment).
- **Fluent in English and Spanish (CEFR at least C1 level)**:
- Experience leading a team of Graphic Designers.
- Understand the complexities of working with people in different time zones.
- Understanding of design principles in both print and digital formats.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work in a variety of media.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere are a plus).
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for design purposes.
- Strong proofreader.
- Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects and communicate progress.
- Optimistic, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
- Able to take direction and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Experience leading a team of designers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Video production and editing skills a plus.
- Writing and/or editing skills a plus.
Physical and Mental Job Qualifications
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
