Graphic Designer/marketing Specialist

Our Marketing team has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Creative team as a Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist. The J.S. Held Marketing team is a team of marketing and creative professionals operating as the company's internal agency, serving clients throughout the entire organization. The Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist will work closely with the creative team to design a diverse portfolio of projects including print and web-based needs. The right person is a problem solver with strong design skills as well as proven writing and editing competency, who can work in a fast-paced environment while creating documents for use on a range of media platforms. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist the Sr. Graphic Designer with various marketing campaigns and needs including:

- Create marketing literature and collateral pieces
- Support branding for PowerPoint presentations
- Design and prepare graphics for various printing or promotional needs
- Writing and/or editing content
- Review all marketing collateral for quality and accuracy
- Maintain brand standards and promote internally with engaging campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support and/or develop new concepts and initiatives
- Interact with internal clients and external vendors
- Proof reading

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent training (3+ year of experience of graphic design in a marketing team environment)
Understanding of design principles in both print and digital formats
- **Fluent in English and Spanish (CEFR at least C1 level)**
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work in a variety of media
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Strong Proofreader
- Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects and communicate progress
- Optimistic, self-motivated and being able to take the initiative
- Able to take direction under the Sr. Graphic Designer and to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within fast-paced working environment
- Sharepoint experience a plus
