- We are looking for a **Service Engineer** to join our dynamic, fast-paced **Energy & Automation** team for Energy Business in the Americas region. The desired location for this position is **Colombia.**
- What will you be doingAs a **Service Engineer**, you will be performing various field service activities, including overhauls and repairs at both the customer job site and in the local workshop.-
**As a Service Engineer, you will focus on these responsibilities**:
- Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan.
- Perform overhauls and repairs on assemblies on-site and/or in workshops.
- May interact with customers during the work execution.
- May perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
- Create the Service Work Reports.
- Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
- Participate in the development of new working methods within own responsibility area.

**Professional Skills**:
- Engineering degree in electrical fields
- Experience with Alternators and energy generation Engines,
- System and solution knowledge
- Customer understanding
- Experience in commissioning new power plants as an automation engineer
- Experience with programmable logic controllers, frequency drives, electrical protection devices, computer systems, Ethernet networks, firewalls and OPC-servers.
- Creating and presenting highly technical information to internal and external world-class experts
