Deer Camp Digital is a U.S.based digital marketing agency serving outdoor, ranch, hunting, fishing, and land-focused brands. We build and host all client websites internally and treat them as long-term assets, not one-off projects.

We are not looking for a freelancer or an agency. We are hiring **one full-time web operator** who will own website development, maintenance, and SEO execution across our growing portfolio.

**The Role**

This role is hands-on and execution-focused. You must speak English and join daily Google Meet's with rest of team, discuss projects and meet deadlines.

You will build, maintain, and continuously improve **30+ WordPress websites** using proven templates and themes. When you are not launching new sites, you will be improving existing ones through SEO optimization, performance tuning, plugin management, and ongoing updates.

You will work closely with our leadership team and occasionally join client calls when technical clarity is needed.

Key Responsibilities

**Website Development & Maintenance**
- Build WordPress websites using existing themes and templates
- Launch new sites efficiently and correctly
- Manage plugin updates, conflicts, and fixes
- Monitor uptime, performance, and security
- Maintain and improve existing websites on an ongoing basis

**SEO & Performance**
- Execute on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, schema basics)
- Improve site speed and technical performance
- Publish and format blog content
- Run and review Google Analytics and Search Console reports
- Identify and fix technical SEO issues

**Client & Internal Support**
- Implement small website edits and improvements as requested
- Join occasional client calls for technical explanations
- Translate client needs into clean, practical execution
- Communicate clearly and consistently with our internal team

Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of WordPress experience
- Strong familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and templates
- Comfortable working inside existing site frameworks (not reinventing builds)
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and best practices
- Experience managing multiple websites at once
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console
- Strong written English; conversational spoken English

Nice to Have
- Experience working with U.S.based agencies or clients
- Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar builders
- Basic understanding of hosting environments
- SEO tools experience (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.)
