In this Senior Sales Specialist role, you will drive business in Central America (Peru, Venezuela, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic) within the THV portfolio. The position will be based in Bogota but involves 70% of travel time within the region assigned, since it is a field role.
You will manage relationships with customers and distributors, looking to grow Edwards' share of wallet, identifying, developing and closing new sales opportunities.
**How you will make an impact**:
- Serves as main point of contact within THV for assigned territory and/or customer base utilizing full understanding of TAVR Therapies and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business.
- Builds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and other influencers, expands network in assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market utilizing creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy.
- Develops and closes new business opportunities, and identifies areas of improvement to meet sales targets while developing and executing annual plan to achieve region objectives.

**What you will need (required)**:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (E.g. International business, Bioengineering, Nursing, Economy, Farmacy)
- 5 years of progressive sales and medical devices industry experience is required.
- Experience leading distributors channel sales is required.
**What else we look for (preferred)**:
- Full understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business.
- Full knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor products.
- Develops deeper understanding of own business, medical devices industry and selling environment of own region.
- Full knowledge of customer organizations and how market environment impacts customers.
- Understands customer needs, feedback and objections and explains products to influence customer perception of value.
- Experience in third party management and indirect sales.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a multinational environment is a plus.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Adhere to all company rules and ethical procedures.
