The MCA BPS Category team is seeking a 4P lead role for driving results for Commercial personal devices. The role leads cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic priorities and the business plan
**Responsibilities**:
- Deep understanding of the category product, business management and sales challenges and strategies.
- Actively contributes to the definition of the category business plan.
- Establishes relationships and represents team with sales force and other partners at senior level.
- Product line and quota responsibility for a significant share of the product range, or a specific customer segment.
- Functional responsibility for the team in one or several areas (market analysis, marketing engagement, SF communication etc).
- May lead a subset of the team. May lead overall engagement with one or several sales teams.
**Drive Results**
- Track the business at a solutions level and drive strategic product initiatives with the category and sales teams to positively impact the business.
- Align with central and regional marketing and product lifecycle managers to create and execute on the global 4P plan to win in the market. Responsible for monitoring sales performance across the product lines, identifying and acting on gaps or underperformance.
- Working closely aligned with the GBU you will feed changing market and customer needs as feedback to influence decision making.
**Product & Price**
- Working with Product Marketing and Product Lifecycle Teams to ensure effective launches of new products, create excitement and energy in the markets, articulate the product positioning well through Product Launch Communications
- Working on key initiatives with alliances marketing to develop business through strategic partnerships.
- Partnering with the operations and supply team and business finance to manage the supply and forecasting process to minimize ageing inventory and optimizing inventory turns.
**Place & Promotion**
- Develop and drive the execution of key global GTM (go-to-market) programs (demand generation / product promotions) for category to accelerate revenue and share gain.
- Implement key global program initiatives and promotional frameworks.
- Drive the execution of key global GTM (go-to-market) programs (demand generation / product promotions / new product introductions / end-of-sale activities etc) for the market category to accelerate revenue and share gain.
- Track the business at a solutions level and drive strategic product initiatives with the GBU and sales teams to positively impact the business
**Skills**:
- Experienced category/go-to market leader with strong technical knowledge and ability to understand detailed product level complexities.
- Understand market and competitive landscape, identify competitive opportunities and gaps and can develop counter strategies to win.
- Ability to work with large and complex data from multiple sources, ability to present succinct analysis of business scenarios.
- Understanding of Business Processes and Cadence. Should be able to drive cadence and rhythm in business with Global Business and Countries.
- Strong Presentation skills. Should be able to prepare and deliver Executive level business and product presentations.
- Strong Communication skills. Should be able to develop, design and deliver, both visually and verbally strong product story.
- Ability to work in a large matrix organization with multiple stakeholders across the value chain, ensuring projects move ahead with specific timelines taking all stakeholders along.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work with team members in same team, and across multiple different virtual teams, with diverse opinions and objectives. Able to drive people to a common business objective.
- Should be a self-starter, self-driven individual with an innovative and problem-solving mindset.
**Experience**: 8 years of experience in category /go-to-Market management, Product & Portfolio management
