The role owns the finance set-up and integration of new business, and creates a one-go-to person for the operational team. Essentially, this makes the integration of new business much easier from all perspectives. Having a role with the specialised knowledge in this field ensures that the Betsson Group’s practices are aligned and follow a defined pattern, particularly from a finance point of view.
- Direct involvement with project directors and managers for planning and initial set-up of the required structures (corporate, financial & other). A key aspect of the role is to assist in the setting up of financial business and budgetary plans, followed up by periodic cashflow forecasting and approval of payments to ensure efficient cash and working capital management
- Lead discussion within the central and regional finance teams while integrating new business within the existing finance processes. This includes the integration of new headcounts or outsourced third party consultants. The role is the main point of contact for sourcing of underlying financial data and information from regional finance teams and third-party consultants - also for external reporting and general analysis
- Understand existing business and align financial reporting matters to the rest of Betsson Group (following discussion with the central finance team)
- Ensure that regional finance teams and third-party consultants follow month-end processes and reporting, and lead them to reach set deadlines
- Follow up and analyse financial results vis-à-vis original plans for the entire Latam region and present these to the central finance team
- Lead the budget process of LATAM entities together with regional finance teams
- Assist in ad-hoc reporting, such as preparation of management accounts for presentation to the central finance team and other key stakeholders

**YOU’RE GOOD AT**:

- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Outlook & Word
- Fluent in English
- Accounting qualification (CPA / ACCA or equivalent)
- +7 years of working experience in Accounting, Controlling and Business Development
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (full and SMEs)
- Experience in multinational companies and/or startups.
- Experience in iGaming is considered an asset
- Complete knowledge of Colombia GAAP, Colombian accounting reports and tributary laws
- Solid experience in national and local tax reporting, DIAN, Withholding, Income Tax, Payroll.
- Experience in finance processes and systems enhancements is considered an asset
- Problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
