**A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Provides project management and sourcing expertise to cross-functional, cross-divisional commodity teams.
- Facilitates these teams in the development and execution of long-term strategies that will optimize Medtronic's position in terms of quality, cycle/response time, technology, risk, and total cost.
- Mitigates risk, leverages technology and purchase power, improves processes and systems, and reduces overall cost of ownership and acquisition.
- Negotiates, establishes and monitors supplier agreements.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor degree in business management, finances, international business o related areas required.
- 5 or 6 years of relevant experience on indirect purchases, sourcing, planning, and scheduling Meetings & Events (also regional negotiations for Marketing, Production Agencies, Promotional Materials, Translations, Creative Agencies and Public Relation Agencies is also a must).
- Advance english level.
- ERP knowledge (oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to address concerns, provide process updates, and conduct change management activities and build collaborative relationship with all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Sourcing teams regionally to build and implement a world class procurement strategy for LATAM spend and assist in the development of the long term plan to achieve G&O´s.
- Perform data analytics, forecast demand, and identify baselines for purchasing that meet prioritized business requirements; high skills on Excel, Power Bi, Data Management is a must.
- Define and execute the sourcing strategy, including approach to market, managing sourcing event documentation and supplier invites, evaluating results, and awarding suppliers.
- Maintain supplier relationship by solving key disputes, negotiating final pricing and commercial terms, and leading the category strategy during sourcing events.
- Prioritize and validate potential strategic options, determine the benefits cases for these options, and measure the performance against established KPI´s.
- Encourage others to engage in transparent and constructive conversations, contributing to high-performance teams and strong working relationships.
- Must have strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple teams and levels across the organization.
- Must be a strong influencer, independent thinker and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

- SAP Knoledge.
