**The Work You'll Do**:
As a Technical Consultant you will work cross-functionally and be accountable for managing the effective completion of day to day tactical activities needed for the implementation of Sovos' Sales Use and Tax solutions globally. You will work closely with external clients, to manage their implementation and project process, while providing technical assistance for Sovos SaaS products. A successful Technical Consultant will exhibit the ability to work cross functionally with teams in our Sales, Product Management and Development teams, and our Regulatory Design team. You will get the unique opportunity to not only work with best-in-class solutions, but also get the opportunities to learn SQL queries and scripts while working within multiple ERP and E-Commerce systems.
- More specifically, you will:_
- Run packaged and well-defined Sovos projects. This includes delivering kick-off workshops, providing access credentials, reviewing design specifications and test reports, as well as drafting project documentation
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to Sovos end-customers and partners
- Guide technical related meetings with the customer as needed
- Participate in project teams and product committees
- Be accountable for ensuring technical assistance and guidance for client implementations to meet quality and scope expectations
**What We Need From You**:
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- At least a year having worked in a client facing IT role and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects
- Ability to travel to customer sites if necessary (not common, most work is done remotely).
- A genuine interest in new/existing/future products and roll-outs as well as emerging technology to increase proficiency in a technical capacity.
- Demonstrate a high level of self-awareness and dedication to personal development and learning
- Technical aptitude in IT-security, ERP systems, Web Services, basic programming are advantageous
