Junior Accountant Clerk

ONSITE. Location: Medellin, Colombia.

English B2 - Intermediate level.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and statements
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, payments, and other accounting documents
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in the monthly account reconciliation process
- Assist with preparing financial reports and statements for management review
- Support the finance team in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
- Enter financial data into accounting software and ensure timely and accurate data entry
- Assist in responding to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payments and invoices
- File and organize accounting documents, ensuring records are up-to-date and easily accessible
- Perform other administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed and whatever other tasks the company may require front you

**Qualifications**:

- Intermediate English level (B2)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Medellín, Antioquia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
