**Senior Design Director Colombia**

**AECOM** is seeking a **Senior Design Director** to be based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Job specifics include:

- Responsible for management of multi-disciplinary design groups.
- The establishment and implementation of design management procedures to assure the compliance of quality and time
- Preparing schedules of services, determining scope delineation and roles and responsibilities
- Leading and supervising the Technical Discipline Leaders
- Coordinating design consultants and contractor submissions.
- Undertake and lead technical reviews from concept through detailed design
- Design management for infrastructure and building projects
- Managing and coordinating design submissions from contractors and designers
- Coordination and management across different sectors and interfaces
- Documentation management using appropriate software and systems
- Preparation of Scope of Works and Requests for Proposals
- Technical assessment of tenders and proposals
- Quality management and compliance with design procedures
- Monitoring and reporting on program and cost control

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**

Minimum Qualifications:

- Architect or Engineer university degree plus 10 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education with
- At least 10+ years working as Design Manager or engineering design experience with international companies and/or projects
- Fluent English and Spanish language required with other languages are a plus

Preferred qualifications:

- Architect or Engineer university degree plus 20 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
