Creative Director, Design

**What you'll do**
- Drive the vision, conception, and design of innovative customer experiences that convey marketing and business objectives effectively—and beautifully.
- Collaborate with peers across various departments, including project management, strategy, marketing services, and engineering.
- Lead the design process from concept to launch, delivering award-winning designs.
- Inspire and direct a team of multidisciplinary designers, providing guidance and mentorship to support career growth and trajectory.
- Lead new business pursuits, driving pitch strategy and solution concepting from sketches to final visuals and representing Hero's creative capabilities to win new accounts.
- Represent Hero Digital in the greater creative community, establish partnerships, and attract full-time and contract top talent through collaboration with recruiting.

**Who you are**
- 7+ years in a creative leadership role overseeing conception and design of cross-channel customer experiences (3+ years in an agency environment).
- Experience working with U.S. clients.
- Fluency in English spoken and written communication is a must.
- Strategic understanding of current trends within experience design, marketing, branding, digital product design, and agile methodologies and the ability to translate them into impactful creative solutions.
- Ability to effectively navigate client presentations, lead creative reviews and concept presentations, and inspire internal and external partners in the design process.
- Experience leading large design teams across multiple accounts.
- Experience recruiting talent and developing teams.
- Ability to distill complex business objectives into simple, human-centered, and compelling narratives.
- Expert knowledge in visual design and communication principles, with a strong emphasis on digital experiences, UI, UX, and web standards.
- Understanding digital product design principles, including mobile design, systems design, and agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, scope and estimate creative work streams, and make appropriate trade-offs to meet time constraints.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and excited to use the latest prototyping tools.
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator is a must.
- Available to travel to the U.S.
