**REMOTE/VIRTUAL Call Center Customer Service Representative**

Summary of Position: This position is responsible for first line communication with new and existing patients. This role is extremely important, requiring a warm and kind voice that is patient and truly wants to help. This position requires great language skills and fluency in both Spanish and English ( _**Advanced levels in both languages is a requirement**_ ).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Answering phone and handling FAQs (Frequently asked questions)
2. Appointment confirmation calls
3. Double booking appointments (as needed)
4. Recall list (Communicating with patients who are overdue for their eye exam)
5. Creating & Editing appointments
6. Verifying insurance benefits (Insurance verification on vision insurance site and getting back to the patient)
7. Take messages for staff
8. Responding to social media inquiries (IG messages & Facebook messages)
9. Responding to text messages/chat bots
11. Follow up calls & promotion offerings

**Note**:Job duties may change overtime as new protocols and ideas are introduced into the practice.

Qualifications:

- At least 1 year of phone support or call center experience
- Fluency and Advanced skill level in BOTH English and Spanish - no exceptions
- Strong organizational skills, Detail oriented, and multitasking skills
- Technology friendly - Familiar with basic PC computer functions, Microsoft word & excel, PC file folders, electronic medical records, vision insurance portals, and open to learning new technologies that get implemented.

**Approximate Hours per week to complete tasks**:Anywhere from 44-45 hrs/week once properly trained
