**About the role**

Our Risk team sits at the very core of Revolut. Those special agents work across functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure that the business is on safe footing. People in the Risk team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives, from app technology, to treasury and finance, to customer support.

We’re looking for an Operational Risk Manager to improve our risk management framework and governance structure in Colombia. You'll use data to track daily risk exposures and support reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

**What you'll be doing**
- Managing operational business risks & disaster recovery
- Building business continuity plans
- Monitoring and managing operational risks
- Working with the first line of defense (1LOD) to identify, assess, document and regularly review risks of all risk types
- Developing and implementing risk policies, risk procedures, key risk indicators and risk appetite statement
- Monitoring risks against limits and thresholds, producing reports to management and other relevant stakeholders
- Working with both local and global stakeholders in the risk incident management process including registration of risk events, investigation and root cause analysis, and managing and delivering risk incident reports for senior management
- Coordinating the local New Initiatives Approval Process
- Overseeing and managing operational performance of third party vendors and suppliers

**What you'll need**
- 8+ years of experience in Risk Management or a related role within Financial Services
- Experience building operational risk management functions from scratch, disaster recovery planning & operational risk management ORM
- Advanced conversational english (no negotiable)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities

**Nice to have**
- Excellent ability working with data — proficiency with SQL
- Exceptional understanding of regulations within the Financial Services industry
- Experience working in disaster recovery for digital companies
