Chiper was born as a project in 2018 and in 2019 was launched as a company. Be part of a team where you will be:
Chiper is looking for an Operations Manager to reach operational excellence in Colombia. This role calls for a combination of problem-solving, planning, leadership, and result-orientation. As an Operations Manager you should be comfortable in an “all hands deck environment, enjoy solving problems and thrive in a startup environment”.

Success in this role means a defect rate below 3%, with more than 95% of stock availability with less than 0.3 inventory turnover and with fulfillment cost of 7%.

Your principal responsibilities will be:

- Annually build budget of operations and provide operational information for country manager decisions and other area’s budgets.
- Monthly build operational plan to accomplish demand requirements and business strategy.
- Monthly make decisions about logistics network analysis looking for providing the right logistics network according to company growth.
- Monthly provide feedback to direct reports according to the accomplishment of what roles demand and performance metrics results.
- Monthly run checklist in each operation of the country.
- Weekly analyze stock-outs trends and provide feedback operations about RCAs created.
- Weekly analyze fulfillment defect rate trends and provide feedback operations about RCAs created.
- Weekly analyze last-mile defect rate trends and provide feedback operations about RCAs created.
- Weekly analyze and define action plans of fulfillment cost.
- Weekly analyze and define action plans of inventory losses.
- Weekly analyze and define actions of overstock in warehouses.
- Weekly align operational areas to be coordinated according to changes in other areas or within operations process.
- Daily ensure operations doesn’t have any block or difficulty to follow standards operational procedures.
- Daily follow any project or experiment that is run in his operations to validate that are running successfully.

We are looking the next skills:

- Remote up to 20%, willingness to travel is a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence all levels.
- Proven track record of building teams and systems tied directly to the top and bottom-line results of the organization, ideally with experience in crafting and scaling operational processes that delight end-users.
- 5+ years leading operation or supply chain teams above 100 personnel.

Other essential requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in operations, logistics, e-commerce, retail or related field.Degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, or related field.Results obtained in operational improvements.Team building ability and negotiation skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish - English)
