**What We'll Bring**:
As part of the Data Operations Team, this position should focus on delivering actionable insights to evaluate and control data ingestion processes across multiple sources (Cloud and On-Prem). This individual will leverage state-of-the-art tools to cultivate the analytical methods needed to consistently refine and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data onboarding processes and platform monitoring.

- Advance Student or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Logical thinking, strong problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Service first mentality.
- Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible, highly organized, and open to feedback with excellent follow-through skills.

**We're also looking for the preferred skills below.**
- Familiarity with Support Ticket Systems (Jira).
- Familiarity with Cloud Storage Environments AWS and GCP (GS Util, Big Query).
- Familiarity with Hadoop (HDFS, Hive).
- Linux/Unix Basic knowledge.
- Shell Scripting (Linux and/or Python) Basic knowledge.
- SQL - Basic to Intermediate Knowledge.

- This role reports directly to **Data Operations Management **.
- Processes learning and data migration to GCP is expected as a priority during the first 90 days.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot possible data flow issues between servers and processing steps.
- Document user requests and update clients through tickets with the issue's status.
- Communicate effectively with IT and non-IT people within the company and be able to make informed decisions quickly.
- Find and solve data problems, ensuring timely short-term and long-term preventive solutions.
- Coordinate with other teams or specialists to troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
- Handle escalations.
- Develop and improve existing processes to ensure data ingestion through the ETL Platform.
- Work with management and teammates to prioritize business and information needs.
- Work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
- Create appropriate support documentation and knowledge base to help all users quickly troubleshoot problems.
- Deliver excellent customer support through efficiently and accurately handling tickets/requests and general program inquiries.
- Perform other work-related tasks and responsibilities assigned to you from time to time.
- Participate in new products, features deployment, and propose technical solutions that meet business needs.
