**Junior Accountant (Onsite, Medellín)**

**Schedule**: Monday-Friday
**Language**: Bilingual (Spanish/English B2+)
**Work mode**: In office / Onsite

**About the role**

We’re seeking a Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, reporting, and financial documentation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process and reconcile transactions: vendor invoices, journal entries, billing, receipts, and collections.
- Prepare reconciliations: bank, vendor, and customer accounts; track balances and aging schedules.
- Support closing activities: assist in month-end and year-end close with accurate entries and reports.
- Maintain records and compliance: ensure organized documentation, support audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate and report: work with other departments to resolve discrepancies and generate basic financial reports.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Degree in Accounting (Contador(a) Público(a)).
- 1-3 years of accounting experience.
- **Must have hands-on knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).**:

- English level B2+.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- Knowledge of Colombian accounting and tax basics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
